Day 1: UeSo Pantanal Lodge - Jaguar Safari Chalana UeSo Pantanal
(2 nights)

At 7 a.m. breakfast is served at the UeSo Lodge . Afterward, we head out and drive about 107 kilometres south, all the way to the end of the legendary Transpantaneira, to Porto Jofre. Along the way, we make several stops to observe birds and wildlife. With a bit of luck, you might even spot an anteater or a tapir. Around lunchtime, we enjoy a packed lunch from the UeSo kitchen – somewhere in a particularly beautiful spot in nature. Your consumed drinks will be recorded. Upon arrival in Porto Jofre, we check in at the UeSo Chalana Pantanal. In the afternoon, a major adventure awaits: your first Jaguar observation tour! We spend about three and a half hours exploring the riverbanks, keeping a keen eye out for the king of the Pantanal. Then it’s back to the UeSo Chalana Pantanal, where a tasty dinner awaits you on board. You’ll spend the night in your booked cabin. Drinks and snacks are available at the kiosk – they’ll be listed separately and can be paid when you check out.

Day 2: Chalana UeSo Pantanal

Breakfast is served at 7 a.m. – and by 8 a.m., we set off with the motorboat. A full day on the water awaits us as we explore the stunning river landscapes around the Cuiabá, Tres Irmãos, São Lourenço, and Piquiri rivers. This is jaguar territory – and the chances are high that we’ll spot one of these majestic big cats lounging on the riverbank or even hunting.
Around noon, we enjoy a packed lunch on board the boat, surrounded by nature with a view of the water. Afterward, we continue our journey, keeping our eyes peeled for more jaguars and wildlife during the next three hours. By approximately 4 p.m., we return to the Chalana. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax, read, or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings. In the evening, a delicious meal awaits you at the ship’s restaurant, followed by an overnight stay in your cozy cabin aboard.

Day 3: Chalana UeSo Pantanal - UeSo Pantanal Lodge

Breakfast is served at 7 a.m. – and by 8 a.m. at the latest, we cast off for another exciting boat tour in search of wildlife. For a few hours, we cruise through the stunning river landscape once more – maybe we’ll spot one last jaguar? We enjoy our packed lunch in a relaxed setting on board the motorboat. Afterwards, we return to the UeSo Chalana to load our luggage – and around 2 p.m., we set off on the journey back along the legendary Transpantaneira towards the UeSo Lodge.

Notice:
For your jaguar tour to the Chalana-Boat, your big luggage stays at the reception – only a light backpack for 3 days comes aboard the cabin boat. When you return, you can pick up your luggage there. During high season, your original room might no longer be available, but don’t worry – we’ll make sure you get a cosy and equivalent one.

So, keep your camera ready – the jaguars are waiting!
