The UeSo Pantanal is our largest lodge in the middle of a marvellous natural landscape, situated on the Transpantaneira KM38 and a large pond. It is the starting point for foot and mule excursions and car safaris on the Transpantaneira.
Just 5 kilometers from the UeSo Lodge, in the middle of a green and wild area, is the Aventura Lodge, our newest base for paddling and hiking tours.
The 10-cabin boat «Chalana» is drifting on the Rio São Lourenço near Porto Jofre. It is the base for our discovery tours on the river and the jaguar excursions.
The UeSo Aventura Lodge is our new lodge, located 5 km from the UeSo Pantanal Lodge. While the two lodges are close to each other, their surroundings are vastly different.
The UeSo Aventura is just a 10-minute walk from the Rio Claro. While the trees and plants at the UeSo Pantanal Lodge grow a bit less lush and tall, the UeSo Aventura almost disappears into the green wilderness of the Pantanal.
The pousada, built in the typical colonial style with its blue windows and white walls, serves as a starting point for canoe and hiking tours. On the numerous «Trilhas» (hiking trails) in the area, you can observe a variety of wildlife, such as the armadillo, Pantanal deer, wild dogs, and along the river, the giant river otter.
On the journey across 100 bridges to the end of the Transpantaneira in Porto Jofre, you'll see agoutis, jabirus, capybaras, anteaters, deer, roes, Pantanal foxes, kingfishers, and many other inhabitants of the Pantanal. We make frequent stops to take in the amazing nature around us. The tour starts at 9:30 AM and lasts about 4 hours. We’ll have a picnic along the way.
The chalana, with 10 cabins, 6 double rooms, and 4 four-bed cabins spread over three decks, serves as the starting point for exploration tours on the Rio São Lourenço and its tributaries. We keep an eye out for the majestic jaguar. Many wild animals roam in and around the water: giant river otters, capybaras, caimans, osprey, macaws, turkey vultures, toucans, and with some luck, a tapir. So, don't forget your camera!
