Covid-19 in the Pantanal

Travel by plane to Brasil is possible now with negative PCR test. (Status: 30.12.2020)

The entry and exit on overland routes is currently not possible without restrictions

Since the Pantanal is far away from the big city and is sparsely populated, we were spared from Corona here. To make sure that it remains that way and that we comply with the regulations of the Brazilian state, we have taken the following precautions:

• Masks must be worn while driving. The driver also wears a mask.
• Disinfectants will be available at the reception and liquid soaps can be found in the bathroom.
• During the riding, boating and hiking trips, care is taken to ensure sufficient distance.
• If necessary, the excursions are made in phases so that there are never too many visitors in one place.
• Shared rooms and objects (deck chairs, tables, handles) are more frequently disinfected.

Entry and exit by air is possible again. You will need proof of a negative PCR test at check-in, no later than 72 hours before departure.  (Detailed information - pdf)
